Dear friend of La Bagatelle,

This week we are celebrating La Bagatelle turning three years old. It might not seem like a big deal, but to me it really is. I am deeply grateful that you appreciate what I am trying to do: create pieces that are made with love and care, that are comfortable to wear and have a charm and personality of their own. It is a dream to work with the most interesting fabrics the world has to offer. Handwoven textiles, vintage textiles and textiles coloured with natural dye making them special to look at and easy on the skin.

As a special treat on the occasion of the birthday we have prepared a pink drop that I am calling the Jaipur drop, because it is an homage to all the shades of pink India, and Jaipur in particular, has to offer. Incidentally it also happens to be my favourite colour. I truly hope you will enjoy it, I loved making it.
