La Colombe d’Or Jacket, Japanese Sashiko Cotton
STYLE DESCRIPTION
Inspired by one of Malene Malling’s favourite places, a small hotel in the South of France where she comes back year after year with her family. It is all about relaxed, artistic sophistication just like the jacket that feels snug and comfortable but is so well tailored you can take it anywhere. The pockets are perfect for passports and phones alike
JAPANESE SASHIKO COTTON
Sashiko meaning “little stabs,” is a traditional Japanese technique of functional embroidery that makes a fabric stronger and more hardwearing. This heavyweight Sashiko cotton is made from many layers of thread making it strong yet breathable with a stitched “rice like” running stitch that creates the pattern. It is made in Japan, but of course.
COMPOSITION
100% Cotton.
