Meet the Virginia Shirt the new addition to our small collection of indispensible shirts. It is naturally inspired by Virginia Woolf, one of the gratest writers of all time. She was the centre of the stylish and groundbreaking “The Bloomsbury Group”. A group of artists, writers and thinkers who dressed their work, themselves and their homes beautifully. The Virginia Shirt is feminine with a writers poetic air and flair. It is slimmer and slightly shorter in the body than her big sister The Bendix Shirt.
TRADITIONAL MASHRU SILK AND COTTON
Traditional Mashru from western India. Mashru is double layered fabric with silk on the front and cotton on the back making it wonderfully heavy which means it falls particularly well. The silk yarns are woven in a satin stitch style texture giving the fabric a beautiful lustre.
