Baez Vest, jersey milk white wool khadi and a Indian vintage trim

STYLE DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the idea of women riding in Mongolia looking eclectic, comfortable as well as warm in a vest that is all about craft. Pictures of a young Joan Baez in the sixties have a similar vibe so it borrows its name from her. The Baez Vest longs for denims, pretty shirts and time off on horseback or around a bonfire. In reality though, it will live its much of its life in the city and look just as beautifully in place there.

JERSEY MILK WHITE WOOL KHADI
A very precious wool that only come in very limited stock. This wool is made from the hair from local mountain goats. The goats are sheered, and the hair is sortes into colours before being spun on a Charkha. These yarns are then woven into fabric lengths on a hand operated loom, they are softened through the process of washing with soapnut and then felted by hand to get these dense and crinkled herringbone wool fabrics.

The whole artisanal process is operated by women of the State of Himachai Pradesh in the Northern part of India.
