Elena Skirt, black handwoven Indian silk

Dream skirt named after the main character in Elena Ferrante’s book “My brilliant friend.” The introspective, bookish Elena doesn’t have precious things when growing up in Naples, but her intellect and will power allows for a different world to open up to her. Away from the books and on the beaches of Italien islands the sun brings out her beauty. If only she had had an Elena Skirt her outer world would have matched the beauty of her inner world.

FINE HANDWOVEN SILK
Fine handwoven silk with a crinkled effect that allows the generous amount of silk to fall heavy and perfectly around the bum and body in general. It flows when you move and the vintage silk trim at the bottom slimmers when the light hits it. Do not iron.

Machine wash at maximum 30°C.

Our Elena Skirt fits true to size.
Alma is 178cm and wears a size small.

The waist can be made smaller with the drawstring.
