Madicken Top, blue Indian jamdani with a vintage lace

STYLE DESCRIPTION
We’d like to think that this is what Madicken would have worn if the author Astrid Lindgren had allowed her to grow up. Although Madicken is a fictive character in one of the Swedish author’s many epic children’s books, she was an early icon to Malene Malling. Because she had good intentions, got into mischiefs and always look really well dressed while doing it.

BLUE INDIAN JAMDANI
Indian jamdani is a fine muslin cloth that has a motif woven in on a loom. This is a highly skilled traditional technique done by hand by master weavers.
